The Call and The Wait

On February 29th, 2012 at 1:45pm I received the call.

I realized it was our adoption agency calling and answered the call expecting to hear the same words as the last eight months `Sorry, no referral this month either`.  But this was The Call we had been waiting for.
We had a little girl named Ying-Shi Song, born July 28, 2011 from the Province of Guangdong.

Another dream finally came true!

These are the only pictures we have of our baby girl.  It has been a very long wait and yet another lesson in patience.  The main difference is that this time we had Bethany to keep us occupied during an incredible summer.  
But in all honestly, I have thought about her on a daily basis.  Wondering if she is well or sick; is she in foster care of at the orphanage; is she walking or talking and countless other things going through my head.  It has been a very difficult wait.

Now, fast-forward six months from that memorable day of The Call and we are only 2 sleeps away from boarding the plane back to China, something I never thought would happen again when we left in March 2009.  It is hard to believe that it has only been 3 years since we had the most incredible adoption experience with a 10 month old little Angel who stole our hearts from the first moment we held her.  To have the chance to go through the same experience once again is truly a blessing.
